I can tell you that we have a pontoon boat and when we throw the tow in the boat it is as wide as the inside of the boat and probably 6' long. I am 5'7" and I can comfortably sit in it with no problem. They don't think it gives them enough of a thrilling ride. They find it 'boring' to sit and ride. They prefer to stand and try to lean to make it swerve more. So, that being said, if you want a safer ride for small children, it is great. Doesn't beat you to death and has plenty of cushion in the seat area.

You could but this is really meant for a more powerful boat. We have a pontoon boat with HP. It came with everything we needed and works great with our 22ft. We have been boating for 40 years, have had numerous tubes through the years, and Big Mable is the best we have found.
