I was leading the tyrenos raid for east for all of Friday and Saturday. We never advertised the raid mainly because baka would purple us, the raid at peak times averaged around 25 people which is small as compared to now. Remember you get the high power engine for free aswell by the blue salt quest if you stop and dont craft the wagon! Then 8 quests later or so you get the engine to upgrade the cart into a wagon. You can bring chum buckets it you're feeling generous. The point is the more people that catch fish the faster you get the achievement. You get to keep and sell all the fish yourself. You will have a hard time catching sea fish however if your proficiency is under 5k or so, ideally you want 10k and the better fishing rod. Good to know.
Luckily I found this post before I bought one lol. But wasnt the fishing spots limited by a quantity of fishes. I mean as far as we know they have changed the system for that you catch a max of around 27 fish per spot and it desappear.
We run library together, we do fishing raids, ynystere packs, all the good stuff. Can you do that with pink pufferfish or does it have to be in the ocean? The ocean spots only have a limited amount of fish as far as I know.

I kinda agree with you. But at the same time, while other achievements give only gilda star, this achievement giving gildas worth of item seems unbalanced. Also the achievements are madde for personal progression so getting credit from others is pointless. This ship has obviously already set sail pun intended but I find it very cheapening to the experience that everyone is getting a free boat.

Nothing happens because fishing rewards aren't affected in any way by other people turning in fish. And you still have to craft the thing, you only get the design, which a lot of people seem to be more interested in selling than keeping, thus the price plummets. Ok, buddy i'm not going to insult you, but let me explain why this is an incredibly short sighted view. Regardless of if the user sells their boat design or keeps it that gilda free design is now in circulation ultimately ending up with one additional boat on the water, multiply this by the hundreds of people getting free designs.
Fishing pools are limited in the amount that can be fished before they disappear. SO while you are all enjoying the circlejerk of raid fishing now because the focus is on getting stuff for free, I will be really interested to see the reaction of these people when they attempt to actually make gold fishing and are surprised that 30 other boats show up to their fishing spot and instantly demolish it, reducing the profit per school dramatically per fisher.
