They have very strict Covid controls in place which makes you feel safe and assuring.

Covid precautions were adequate for the 45mins trip that was very good although we were expecting some sort of commentary that would have helped us understand a bit about the lake, the islands and the local mountains. Ferry for walking. We used the ferry to get to and from Hawes End. The boat itself is a beautiful traditional wooden craft and the views from the lake were fabulous. We checked the timetable and there were plenty of return options for the remainder of the day and they were perfectly on time there and back.

The most beautiful of the lakes. Easy to walk along the east bank and all the best views unfold as you do so.

Only a few mins from the centre of Keswick and flat and pushchair friendly for much of the way. Busy though and needed to work hard to maintain social distancing.
