There's a catch if you paint with watercolor though. You have to keep your work very nearly flat to avoid runoff and the screws that hold the work area at that angle are very weak. Any pressure at all from your hand or arm causes the work area to be lowered. I think this problem could be solved if I got a couple of doorstops to help support it. Also, this wood is unfinished and I've spilled water on it a couple of times. Even though I dried all my spills right away, the wood still got a little warped.
