Following graduation he went straight into Formula One with Red Bull Racing in their trackside systems and performance group, initially engineering on David Coulthard's car and then Sebastian Vettel's side of the garage from Next was a move to Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team for the start of season as lead engineer of their powertrain dyno test facility, providing trackside support during race weekends.

Born in Plymouth Will has been involved in engineering for racing yachts for twenty five years having graduated Heriot Watt University and Southampton University.

Away from work Will enjoys sailing his Cornish Shrimper with his wife and two children, walking and running around Dartmoor and wild swimming. Polish-British Wojciech lives in Cambridge, having previously been a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge in computational micromechanics.

In his time in Cambridge Wojciech has worked on software tools for Artemis Technologies and British Cycling and as a software consultant on various projects ranging from vehicle data management for an autonomous vehicle start-up to risk modelling for a banking supervisor in Frankfurt to portfolio insurance for a London-based global insurance provider. Outside of work Wojciech enjoys cycling and running.

Adam is originally from Sydney, Australia but has been living in Cornwall for the past year. Prior to joining the team Adam was working with a number of professional race teams.

He completed 23 years in The Royal Air Force before retiring in Outside of the team his hobbies include Motor Racing, walking, fly fishing, restoration of his classic car and the running of his smallholding and holiday cottage. His ocean-racing experience, specifically, is second-to-none and Henderson has competed in a remarkable 23 Sydney-Hobart races and 12 Transatlantic races.

At home Henderson is married and enjoys windsurfing, MTB riding and surfing with his three children. Together with his partner, Nichola, Brad has a month old son. Outside of work he enjoys spending time fishing, watching rugby and, of course, sailing as much as he can.

Now he is happy to sail on Lake Macquarie with his wife and daughters. In his spare time Humphreys, who is married and has two dogs Pippa and Rimmel , enjoys mountain biking, cycling, snowboarding and a spot of fishing. After training as a sailmaker, Graham ran his own company, Technique Sails, specialising in multihull sails. During this period he won two Multihull National Championships and took line honours three times in the Round the Island Race.

Helen grew up in the East End of London, working on the markets with limited access to boats until her brothers discovered sailing. After leaving school she spent over 10 years living and working in Cyprus, Sweden, America, the UK and Italy doing everything from working for the Ministry of Defence to running a car hire office and working in summer, skiing and sailing resorts.

Helen went back to school, graduating from Southampton with a degree in Maritime Environmental Management. She then worked as a Forest Ranger in the New Forest and with the Coastguard Agency, before joining Offshore Challenges now OC Sport in and starting on her current path of managing events and teams.

Ian began a successful career in the marine industry with a win at the World Championships with John Merricks in Ian went on to attend the and Olympics in the same role. He has over 15 years - experience in the m arine composites industry and worked on variety of projects across Motoryachts , S uperyachts, Lifeboats and Racing yachts. At 18 years old he completed an apprenticeship building race boats for RS Sailing. In his spare time, Justin likes travelling, walking, watching films, listening to music and going to live gigs.

Kevin was born and grew up in Truro, Cornwall. He has 20 years of experience in advanced composite materials building high performance and bespoke surfboards for artists such as the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Damian Hurst and Paul McCartney.

In , he turned his attention to unique carbon structures working on a carbon fibre house in the mountains of Switzerland. A keen sailor, Kevin has double-handly crossed the Bay of Biscay in an open 30ft racing trimaran and enjoys surfing in his free time. He then moved into the superyacht industry working on a 63m and 50m charter yachts covering maintenance, repairs, interior modifications, tender driving, water sports management and bridge watch. He sails comeptitively in various dinghies and yachts including offshore races like the Sydney to Hobart. When not on the water sailing or surfing he enjoys a game of golf. Isle of Wight born Lloyd joined the team the as Electronics and Instrumentation apprentice in , at the age of He completed a three and a half year apprenticeship with the team whilst studying Marine Electrical Engineering at the Isle of Wight College.

In his spare time he enjoys a range of outdoor sports, such as; trail running, paddle boarding, cycling, skiing and going to the gym. Mark Cartwright began sailing young, in dinghies like the Enterprise, International 14 and Etchells. It was the latter that persuaded him after a gap year competing in various classes to take a position running racing boats.

He went on to join the well-known race yacht services company Diverse Yachts in , and began to specialise in electronics designing, installing, commissioning and calibrating electrical and instrument systems. Since then he combined his knowledge of electronics and instrumentation with race navigation competing in regattas around the world joining the team for the 35th America's Cup setting up the Electronics department and is Electronics team lead.

Born in Portsmouth, Mark previously worked in the construction industry for six years sandwiched between a year working in Spain. Following on from his first campaign with the team Mark has moved into the role of managing the overall base. Mark recently won Apprentice of the Year for Portsmouth. After the conclusion of the Cup, Saker stayed in Europe, moving to Valencia. Back in Valencia, Matt has a wife and a two-year-old daughter, with another due soon. He is a big fan of board sports and counts snowboarding and skateboarding amongst his favourite hobbies.

Nathan started sailing from a young age in dinghies along Lake Macquarie in Austrialia and made his hobby his career when he became a sailmaker at 17 years old. In his spare time he enjoys sailing his 42 foot Beneteau, windsurfing and travelling. Nigel grew up in Cornwall and currently resides in Sweden. For the � edition, he fitted out three Volvo Open 70 winch systems and serviced them at every stopover. In his spare time, he was either on the water or gaining experience in other fields like high quality casting for the likes of Bugatti, Aston Martin and in F1.

Peter has been a keen sailor since he was seven years old, when he starting sailing dinghies on a reservoir in his home county of Shropshire. He then moved to Osprey Technical for a more hands on role; and was involved in the design and installation of instrumentation systems on various grand prix and superyacht projects.

He then proceeded to chase a career in professional yachting. Having obtained all the necessary qualifications he began working on a selection of superyachts in and around the Mediterranean and the Carribbean. What the windsurfers say!

Having joined BSC last year, I have found it a very approachable and friendly club with a very proactive windsurfing fleet. They hold regular training and racing sessions and really encourage youth windsurfing. Having personally benefitted so much from this sport as a teenager it is great to see this. When everyone is there it feels like a festival for windsurfers. I always look forward to being able to go on the water, learn new skills and just have a great time.

Thanks to the instructors and variety of equipment I have made lots of progress and will continue to. There's no better feeling than being out there sailing alongside them.
