Sunset dinner cruise. We called for a last minute reservation and there was availability. We did the supper cruise. Boarded at , left at 6, returned about 8.

Beautiful night. I thought the narration was great. It wasn't a full ride, so that was nice. The meal was of great quality, had carved prime rib, chick breast, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw. Dessert in a little cup. Tea and water. You can purchase drinks and snacks also.

There is a man playing live music, it was nice, he sang a lot of happy birthday and anniversary. We were seated with another couple, nice conversation. Tables are for 6, but only 4 were seated at each, so plenty of room.

The river was high, but we had not problems. Went under a cool bridge, saw beautiful houses and a lot of the Dubuque shoreline. I would recommend this trip for couples, nice, relaxing!

Cruise lasted an hour and a half and on this lovely sunny day it was a pleasure. Nice slow journey on a very smooth Mississippi River. Lots of trees bridges and houses on the hillsides to look at. Captain does a commentary but is so disinterested it's off putting and hard to listen to.

It would be much better to have an energised recording, several other people commented on this too. The boat is of course old but on the viewing deck the chairs are ancient and uncomfortable, the tables are painted and repainted plywood that needs redoing again now and the paint on the boat itself shows signs of rust and is generally pretty dirty, a paint job is really a priority.
