Really nice restaurant. Friendly staff and nice views over the beach with a private car park. When the weather is good you can sit outside. Had the most amazing weekend my room had the best views. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved the food and atmosphere in the restaurant warm fire going , would highly recommend for a peaceful relaxing time.

We have been here several times in the past and have always had a good meal here, enjoying the views of the sea from the conservatory windows. There is a choice of vegetarian meals which is always good to find if this is your diet It was good to see that the Fishing Boat Inn was open for business, having walked across the beaches and over the clifftops from Alnmouth.

Drinks in hand, I am a regular visitor to the area but this was my fist visit to Boulmer. It makes a nice change from the busyness of Alnmouth and the other seaside towns. The food was good, probably one of the best crab salads I have had We booked a table over the phone and decided to visit beforehand as the lady on the phone was quite rude and abrupt.

We stopped in for a drink and found the lady behind the bar quite aggressive and rude in her manner. Safe to The sea view is wonderful and the food is good. Lovely fish and sea food what spoils this place is the unfriendly non-welcoming staff. They are only interested in your money not in customer service. Myself and my family visited this restaurant when we were staying in Longhoughton. We prebooked a table here for Sunday dinner and was not disappointed.
