This hotel is truly a resort. Tiki bar at poolside, the beach right behind the pool. Swinging hammocks, restaurants on property, a great area to stroll around the property and the sunsets are spectacular. Torches are lit in the evenings. Rooms are well appointed and comfy. Staff accomodating. Parking on property is easy. Elevators take you to the upper levels. Just a beautiful place. Room was spacious, clean, and modern. Mini Starbucks in the lobby was great and very effecient. The pool is small but perfectly done with a deeper infinity edge. The bar there was perfect as well.
The bartenders were some of the friendliest we encountered on our trip. Food was actually really good as well-the calamari and steak satay w fries were our favorites! One little quirk is even though there are seated dining tables, I think most people still had to order food at the bar.
There was live music both nights we were there and a nightly ceremony of lighting some outdoor fire areas. An adjacent sandy area had hammocks and a few chairs along the water. The neighboring marina was nice for an evening stroll to check out the impressive boats. This property far exceeded my expectations for a Courtyard Marriott and we will definitely stay here again! Feb We have a small lagoon area that is accessible via floating dock. This area is open for guests to swim or snorkel at their own risk. We do not offer snorkeling gear here at the hotel. It may be a bit difficult for someone with a mobility issue as you must get in from the floating dock and it is not walk-in accessible. You may find a better snorkel area at Bahia Small Boats Used As Floating Hotels Video Honda State Park which offers beautiful views from their beach and is only a short 15 minute ride from our hotel.
I got the Mariner's Platter alot of food couldn't even eat it all, had food for the next day. Our server Dillian was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I will be going back here for the brunch that I hear alot of people talk about enjoying.

I chose Rod N Reel as the venue to propose to my girlfriend. The restaurant is beautiful and clean, with gorgeous views of the Chesapeake Bay. They have a marina out front where boats are docked, and a beautiful area to walk around after dinner The food was incredible with a detailed menu and wine list.
