That being said, The Boatslip is an OK place that could use some improvements. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Though older, the rooms are updated and clean, with comfortable beds and high quality linens. Bathrooms are very small compared to today's standards. The rooms are also very noisy and if you have people staying overhead, you will definitely hear them walking around.

And you can hear voices from people staying in the room next to you. Internet is just ok, but really bogs down at times. I had to switch over to my cell phone carrier to get internet at times because the WiFi there is so weak.

Small TV gets a lot of channels but no HD. The location is great. Walkable to everywhere in Provincetown Hot breakfast was very impressive though no fresh fruit or bananas like you find in other places that include breakfast.

Also, this is predominantly a gay resort and every afternoon from to 7;00, they have a very fun Tea Dance at the pool. If that isn't your thing, you might be annoyed. For us, we loved it. When staying at the Boatslip, breakfast is included as is entry into the afternoon Tea Dance.

Do not miss the Tea Dance, especially the last hour on the dance floor. There were several opportunities for making new friends and we discovered that this is a place many return to year after year. This was my first time staying at the Boatslip Resort. The waterfront rooms have an amazing view of the Harbor and a front row for watching Tea Dance. Breakfast was more extensive than I expected and the staff was awesome.
