Probably a good design to lessen the width of the chines as you move forward toward the bow as I feel lighter boats with to much forward reverse chine and moderate to steep deadrise tend to be a handful to drive unless trimmed out perfectly. Seasports and Skagit Orcas come to mind they are better running with a bow up attitude because of they wide reverse chine forward.

Did you guys get a good source for aluminum? Per lb prices have been pretty steady for the past couple years, but sometimes we've had supply issues, not sure if that's been affecting you.
Don't sweat the rhetoric you get from us here on BD Travis. The industry needs all the builders it can get. More competition makes pricepoints more competitive.
In the end, the economy, market, and buyer purchasing Xtaero Aluminum Boats Europe power will weed out manufacturers who don't offer value.

The reason why NR has sold a handful or more boats to BD members in the last 6 months is build quality, customer service, design and value. Not to mention the rear aft station, stand up head, sink, etc. You have a great platform, you just need to be competitive within the correct market. The NR C is probably the price range you should be within if you want a slice of the pie. I think you have a future in boat building, you just need to be more competitive against builders who have a great proven product.
