Drinks and snacks can be purchased on the ship. We went up to the top level deck which was open air. There were about 30 other tourists on board which included some Indians, Chinese, Hispanics and some Americans as well. We had plenty of space to move around from one side of the ship to the other, to see the wonderful sights in all directions. The ship chugged along at 6 knots with a paddle wheel type of propeller churning up the water behind. We saw cruise ships, container ships, seaplanes and freighters along the harbor.

We saw harbor seals at one end of the harbor. There was a sulfur factory and the dry docks at the other end. We saw the Sea Bus catamaran ferries going to North Vancouver and back, and innumerable seaplanes taking off and landing on the water.
