The mast for the boat can be used as a ridgepole, propped up on crutches high enough so that the tarp has some pitch to it. There should be a crutch in the middle. The ends of the tarp are pulled together and rolled up. Squeeze clamps can be used to hold the roll together. If you need to get into the boat, often it can be done through the ends. The cradle should be fitted to the hull, like our CNCsawhorses are, and the feet should be propped up on some wood so they don't sink into the ground as it thaws.
