But I placed the lights in when I first ordered and contacted the company because I was in shock on what I ended up with. But I didn't realize shipping and receiving possibly could of made my lights be defective. I seriously can say I over reacted. I explained my situation with absolutely no made up lies or being dishonest of any kind.

The company believed in me and I first got to say, I appreciate that. The product was damaged, so the company listened and respected me and then sent out another in it's place.

Then on top of this they advised to use a different adhesive for my application on my sailboat! They also sent another sum of money to cover the cost for the stronger adhesive too! I changed my comments and I changed my entire outlook on this company. I am grateful for the offer and I respect them very much for their concern and professionalism. I think anything can happen either made at the shop to all the way to the delivery! But what I didn't think was this could of happened never mind, I should of contacted them first to see what they would do for me!

By Sailor Joe on August 27, Bought three strands and was very easy to install and very bright. On the down side one of the three strands split apart in two different areas while installing. Clips and screws are ok but not really made to install on under railing of a pontoon boat. Screws broke easily so just replaced them with a little larger size and work good after that. Overall happy with the product. Now have had lights on the boat and have two of the three strands break in and only half or none work at this time Not very strong product at all.

Will have a mount to a flat bar and or in a clear tube to protect it from damage. Finally got my boat back and attempted to install these lights. They have very minimal adhesive which pulled right off the back of the lights when removing the paper strip. Only the first foot of the lights lit up from the end I started with. The rest would work if power was connected to the other end so I would have to run power to both ends of the lights, which is not how they are designed to be used.
